# Glorious grassland fungi

Surveys carried out between 2018 and 2021 as part of the South West Peak Landscape Partnership have found over 500 hectares of grassland important for fungi.

24 sites were identified as being of international importance, as well as finding 12 nationally important sites. These field surveys and DNA tests add to our ever-increasing understanding of these vital species.
